SYFPAC® DUO at CPHI Frankfurt 2025

Frankfurt, Germany | 28–30 October 2025 | Booth 9.0C45 – Pharma Machinery Hall

SYFPAC® DUO: A New Benchmark in Blow Fill Seal Technology to be launched at CPHI Frankfurt 2025

At CPHI Frankfurt, 28–30 October 2025, SYFPAC® introduces its latest innovation in Italian-made Closed Parison Blow Fill Seal (BFS) technology — DUO: a compact and scalable BFS machine that redefines efficiency, sustainability, and aseptic integrity in pharmaceutical packaging for Small Volume Parenterals and Prefilled Syringes.
Discover this breakthrough innovation empowering the pharmaceutical industry at booth 9.0C45 – Pharma Machinery Hall.

SYFPAC® is the Blow Fill Seal technology brand of Brevetti Angela, the Italian company founded in 1977 and a pioneer in providing innovative aseptic packaging solutions to the global pharmaceutical industry.

Compact Design and Advanced Blow Fill Seal Technology for Aseptic Pharma Production

The SYFPAC® DUO will be showcased within a representative cleanroom, offering visitors the opportunity to closely examine its compact design and the advanced technologies that enable the complete Blow Fill Seal process — from container formation to aseptic filling and sealing — to happen under Grade A ISO 5 conditions inside the machine.
With its continuous particle monitoring inside closed parison (both total and viable particles) — that meets and exceeds EU GMP Annex 1 requirements — compact footprint, and scalable performance, SYFPAC® DUO represents a new benchmark in BFS technology, merging safety, sustainability, and innovation to drive the next revolution in aseptic pharma packaging.

Maximum Productivity in Minimum Space for the Pharmaceutical Industry

Occupying just 6 m² of class C/D cleanroom space, SYFPAC® DUO delivers the pharma industry’s highest productivity-to-footprint ratio, with four scalable configurations ranging from 4k to 40k uph and potential upgrade up to 10x without any increase in space, from lab scale to high speed.
Thanks to its compact design, SYFPAC® DUO is the smallest Blow Fill Seal machine on the market, measuring only 1.5 x 4.5 x 2.6 meters.
Its modular configuration allows several layout options: the output conveyor can be directed left, right, or straight, optimizing space usage and production flow.

New Standards in Blow Fill Seal Efficiency, Cleanroom Layout, and Sustainable Pharmaceutical Primary Packaging

Fully electric, fully automatic, and remotely operable, SYFPAC® DUO supports temperature-controlled production that keeps solution temperature below 25°C, enabling the safe packaging of biologicals, mRNA vaccines, and potent solutions up to OEB4 and BSL4.
It offers production versatility across volumes from 0.2 to 50 ml, with mould changeovers under 10 minutes, ensuring operational efficiency and adaptability.

The system’s multi-polymer capability and its accurate manufacturing based on Quality by Design are particularly aimed at drastically reducing plastic waste, improving production efficiency, and lowering the environmental impact.
Close to zero waste is achieved through an optimized process design that ensures a 96% reduction in plastic waste, bringing total scrap down to just 6% — the lowest in the industry.
This remarkable performance results in significant efficiency gains, major savings in plastic consumption, and a lower environmental impact, setting a new sustainability standard in aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The system’s flexibility with plastic granules allows the processing of PP, LDPE, or HDPE without any hardware changes, ensuring full operational flexibility and consistent production quality.

A New Frontier in Aseptic Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Medical Device Production

For the first time, it is possible to add inserts to a Closed Parison System, thus opening new opportunities to produce medical devices on a Blow Fill Seal platform.
This new insertion technology allows the aseptic manufacturing of prefilled syringes, special vials, and complex medical devices at unprecedented speed and cost efficiency — marking a decisive step forward for the future of aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing.

BFS Innovation: Continuous Particle Monitoring and the Future of Aseptic Pharma Packaging

With its continuous particle monitoring, compact footprint, and scalable performance, the SYFPAC® DUO represents a new benchmark in BFS technology for the pharmaceutical industry — merging safety, sustainability, and innovation to drive the next revolution in aseptic pharma packaging.

Visitors can experience the SYFPAC® DUO live at CPHI Worldwide 2025, booth 9.0C45 – Pharma Machinery Hall.

SYFPAC® at PDA Universe of Prefilled Syringes and Injection Devices 2025

Vienna, Austria | 21–22 October 2025 | Booth 119

Driving Innovation in Prefilled Syringes and Injection Devices

Brevetti Angela’s SYFPAC® Blow Fill Seal (BFS) machines will once again be part of this unmissable PDA event in Vienna, bringing innovation and new perspectives to the world of prefilled syringes and injection devices.

At booth 119, SYFPAC® will be exhibiting alongside 3CK Medical Devices (booth 118), demonstrating how BFS technology can make a distinct contribution to aseptic manufacturing for the pharmaceutical industry.

Aseptic Filling Redefined with SYFPAC® DUO

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the capabilities of the new SYFPAC® DUO machine, designed for aseptic filling of prefilled syringes through its cutting-edge insertion technology.
This innovative feature enables the addition of inserts inside the closed parison, allowing faster and safer aseptic production of injection devices.

From BFS Expertise to Next-Generation Devices

The event will also highlight Brevetti Angela’s long-standing experience in aseptic filling technologies, which has resulted in several generations of prefilled syringes and culminated in the development of the C-PAD device — a groundbreaking innovation created in collaboration with 3CK and produced on SYFPAC® DUO systems.

This device is a single-use, disposable syringe designed for self-injection: the concept was developed for easy and discreet self-administration of contraceptives, particularly aimed to low-income countries where women could benefit from a small, reserved device. Being produced on a BFS system, its cost would be extremely reduced when compared to traditional syringes, and yet the sterility and quality of the product would be granted at the same time.
